This cilantro pesto is a delicious condiment! Delicious on tacos, eggs, sandwiches... Or add a teaspoon to your olive oil and balsamic vinegar to make a fabulous vinaigrette! A little bit goes a long way.
4 cloves garlic
1/3 cup brazil nuts
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
2 cups packed fresh cilantro
2/3 cup ultra premium extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 teaspoons dulse powder or 1/2 teaspoon NSP dulse liquid
Process cilantro and olive oil in blender until cilantro is chopped. Add garlic, nuts, seeds, dulse, and lemon juice and mix until blended into a paste. Add a pinch of sea salt to taste and blend again. Freezes well.
