Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil

Roasted Pumpkin Seed Oil is made from the first pressing of pumpkin seeds harvested and sourced exclusively from a farm in central New York. This oil has a deep mahogany color with a taste reminiscent of sesame and savory, umami flavor with a silky finish. It is high in mono- and poly-unsaturated fats, cholesterol free and without hydrogenated fats, artificial preservatives or colors. A savory complement to salads, grilled vegetables, sautee`d leafy greens, or oven roasted fish. It is a rich, distinctive alternative to olive oil in vinaigrettes and drizzles. Wonderful to use as  flavoring oil with elegant canapés, as an ingredient in fresh pasta and rice dishes, or as a topping with desserts such as vanilla ice cream drizzled with roasted pumpkin seed oil and crushed almond biscotti!
